The BFD was designed for one thing… 10/10 CHOP for LS engines! It just so happens to make a lot of power too! 

The “BFD” cam is engineered to give your naturally aspirated LS the MOST SAVAGE CHOP humanly possible while delivering big power throughout the curve. Designed to spec with Hoonigan’s Chop King - Zac Mertens, the BFD is the nastiest sounding cam you can stuff into your 5.3L. This Cam is specifically made for the LS 5.3L, so adequate PTV clearance has been built in when used with stock heads. A 3500+rpm stall is recommended for automatics.

Specs: 228/232  .629"/.600"  108 LSA,  3 Bolt Pattern

Please note:  

  • DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD/AFM delete to install an aftermarket camshaft

  • VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.

  • If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
