Dura-Bond bimetal bearings are constructed of seamless steel tube with a thin layer of lead based babbitt material. These CHP series of high performance cam bearings offer more than double the fatigue strength of conventional bearings, withstand racing spring loads, and maintain the excellent surface characteristics of Babbitt. Dura-bond's "T" series bearings are also coated with a secondary dry film lubricant for added protection against oil starvation.
