This camshaft is best suited for 5.7 and 6.0L engines with cathedral port heads, but can also be used in 4.8-5.3L engines when looking for a higher rpm powerband. A 2800+rpm stall is recommended for 5.7-6.2L engines, and 3200+rpm is recommended for 4.8/5.3L combinations. This camshaft will have an aggressive chop at idle, and makes outstanding power while being easy on valvetrain components with it's mild lift and spring pressures, making it ideal for cars and trucks that rack up a lot of street mileage.
